Detroit Lions fans have seen it all over the years (not counting playoff wins) but this statement from yesterday has people wondering if Matt Millen is back in charge.

Yes, the headline sounds ridiculous, but Detroit Lions fans know you can’t always be sure with this franchise. Today, Lions fans can breathe a sigh of relief and have no need to stock up on head-size brown paper bags as far as we know because comedian/actor George Wallace is to blame for the statement.

There was a time, when Matt Millen was in charge, that “fumbling and whatnot” could have landed you a $1.6 billion contract with the Lions. We’re hoping those days are gone, although a good running back might be worth it for this year’s team.
