‘The Real’ Keeps On Keeping Real in Second Semester of First Season [Video]

“The Real” was launched two summers ago on a trial run on Fox stations and officially debuted Sept. 15 last fall.
The weekday syndicated talk show, which airs on Fox-owned stations and in national syndication (locally at 4 p.m. weekdays on WOTV-4) and is rebroadcast on BET in prime time, continues to roll along with its bold quintet.
The all-women-hosted talk show is co-hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai.
Their claim is they “unapologetically” say what women are thinking.
In partnership with Ford, “The Real” is currently seeking women with “drive” who are making a difference in their community or business. Submissions are open until Friday.
This month, “The Real” has highlights including its special 100th episode Feb. 24, with Def Jam/G.O.O.D musical artist Big Sean as the guest. Other guests in February include former “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd, “Scandal” actor Guillermo Diaz, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Nene Leakes, entreprenuer and NBA Hall of Famer Earvin “Magic” Johnson and MTV reality stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “J-Woww” Farley.
Singer-actor Nelly was on last week with “The Real.”
