How to Avoid Dreaded Second Shovel

The joy you feel after finally clearing your driveway can be dashed pretty quickly by a passing snowplow, but there are now tips to help avoid the dreaded "second shovel."

The County Road Association of Michigan released an infographic on Monday to help show where to put shoveled driveway snow so that a plow won't push it back into the end of the driveway. Hopefully making it so that you won't have to shovel the end of your driveway again.

Cardboard Bobsleds Successfully Crashed Down the Cannonsburg Hillside Today

Today's Cardboard Bobsled event at Cannonsburg was something I've been looking forward to for quite a while now!  What could be more fun than a bunch of people out on a hill, building bobsleds from cardboard and duct tape, not caring if the thing really held up on the way down the slope?

Thanks to everyone who came out and had fun with us today!  More than 50 bobsleds raced at least partway down the slope, creatively decorated and with people in costume, to the amusement of all.
