Stray Dog Leads Animal Rescue Workers to 10 Sick Puppies [Video]

Marina Tarashevsce, an animal rescue worker in Dallas, has been trying to catch a stray dog for weeks.

Then the dog wouldn’t stop barking last week, and she noticed he wasn’t with a female dog he usually ran around with. So she and another dog trainer went to investigate.

However, once they’d get close, he’d run further into the woods where he’d been living. Then he’d start barking like he wanted them to follow, so they did.

The dog eventually led them straight to the other dog, which had just given birth to 10 puppies!

At that point, the puppies weren’t doing very well. They were lying in the mud shivering. If they had been there another night, they might have been in trouble.

However, they are all in a shelter now and are doing fine, Dallas’ KTVT-TV reported.

It’s not clear if the male dog is the father, but Tarashevsce named Hero.

She is also keeping all the dogs together until the puppies are old enough to be adopted, KTVT-TV reported.
