Legendary soul and gospel singer Candi Staton is reaching out to a British fan who recently got fined for playing her 1976 hit record “Young Hearts Run Free,” which she re-recorded and re-released in 1999, a bit too loud for his neighbors’ liking.

She wants to find the man, and have him join her on stage at her The Jazz Cafe Camden performance on Sept. 8 in London.

The Grammy Award-nominated songstress, known for “Young Hearts Run Free” and “You’ve Got the Love,” is looking for Stephen Parry, age 42, from Castlefields, United Kingdom.

Parry was fined a £400 ($676 U.S.) plus court costs for cranking up his tunes during the day and night. His frustrated neighbors could reportedly hear the lyrics from songs such as “I Think We’re Alone Now,” by Tiffany, and Staton’s “Young Hearts Run Free.”

Staton in May released her 27th album, “Life Happens,” .

She has a five-date tour planned in the United Kingdom in England, Scotland and Ireland starting Aug. 30.
