Record Rainfall Leads to Backyard Kayaking In West Michigan

No doubt we’ve got our fair share of rain in the last couple days. I heard one weather report say we saw more rain today than we ever have historically on this day. Dang!  Rivers around the area are starting to flood and so are the neighborhoods near them.

Tuesday afternoon in Kent City, Andrew Wojtas made the best of a bad situation. He posted on Facebook some pictures and a video of him enjoying his lake yard in a kayak!

I’m jealous that he got to kayak since I’m jonesing for warmer weather so I can do the same, but it only got up to mid-50’s today, so I’m not that jealous.

Still, way to make a rainy day your B!

ps. this is why I need it to be a LOT warmer when I kayak, I usually end up IN the water.
