La’ Vega Releases New Single ‘Kill ‘Em’ While Finishing ‘Nappy’ Visuals [Audio/Video]
Stephanie “La’ Vega” Lavigat spent every week in 2014 recording music at Quad Studios on Fridays, dance classes on Wednesdays and went to the gym in between.
Those efforts are paying off for the Bronx, N.Y., hip-hop singer. Her newest releases include the singles “Kill ‘Em” and “Nappy.”
She is doing everything she can to grow with MVB Entertainment Music Group, said the label’s owner, Abdel “Sosa” Russell.
He said La’ Vega “needed artist development to nurture the star power that he saw in her, and that his label will continue to do so, regardless if the rest of the industry has shifted in the opposite direction.”
Last year, Lavigat did several photo shoots with photographers Felix Natal Jr., and Jon Ricard. Her label also partnered with New York director Taya Simmons to shoot two music videos: “Leaving Today” and “The Girl You Like.” And she has been working with choreographer Jona Biddle to improve her steps.
She has just finished shooting for her third music video with Taya Simmons for her heartfelt single “Nappy.” In addition, she starting to dive into acting, saying she’s learning a lot and enjoying herself.
