Jennifer Lopez is at the top of her game.

The 44-year-old is a mom, a musician, producer, entrepreneur and designer with a multi-million-dollar empire that rakes in $52 million a year.

It’s no wonder she tells Billboard for the magazine’s new cover story: “I don’t feel like I have anything to prove anymore.”

Lopez tells Billboard that her confidence was boosted by her 2012 tour with Enrique Iglesias, which grossed more than $21 million.

“After I got home, I realized I was a stronger vocalist than maybe even I gave myself credit for,” she says of the tour. “I never put myself out there to show the world what I could do in the best way I could. And touring, you gain a lot when you go out there every night and sing when you feel good, or even when your voice is scratchy and you feel a little off.

“It made me want to get back into the studio without that cage I had put on myself. Once I let that beast loose, I was doing things I didn’t know I could do.”

You can hear what she can do on her new album, “A.K.A.,” an acronym for Also Known As and due out on Tuesday. It is expected to sell only 25,000 to 30,000 copies in its first week, according to The Wrap.

These days, the entertainer says that if she’s going to be compared to anyone, she’d like it to be icons like Cher and Tina Turner “and all these people who came a generation before this one and showed us that you don’t have to, as a young woman, have an expiration date.”

She adds: “You can go on, and you can do what you want into your 60s and 70s and you can be powerful and be vulnerable and be human. And I think we’re just carrying that on. I’d like to think I’m part of the generation that’s carrying that on.”

Billboard also reports that in addition to the new album, there’s even more J-Lo coming.

She’ll release a memoir in October, appear in three movies in 2015, and is prepping a concert documentary and a Christmas album.
