Janet Jackson Reschedules Unbreakable Tour Dates

One of the biggest stories of last year was Janet Jackson‘s return to the music scene with her eleventh studio-album, Unbreakable. But the cancellation of her highly anticipated Unbreakable tour put a damper on the comeback. Now the veteran singer is ready to get back on the road and meet her fans.

The pop icon has rescheduled the dates she missed and provided a new tour itinerary of make-up dates.

News of the tour being canceled was announced in late-October and came without a detailed explanation other than that it was at the behest of Jackson’s doctors. It was later speculated that the singer had been diagnosed with throat cancer, but Jackson refuted those rumors last week in a statement posted to her Instagram page setting the record straight.

“The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love,” Jackson wrote in the statement.

Jackson may have shot down talk of her battling cancer, but didn’t give any further details in regards to her condition. A tweet posted to her Twitter account confirmed her wish for privacy. “It was Janet’s wish not to make any further comments about her health,” read the tweet, but she decided to release a statement due to her fans “great concern.”

Nevertheless, it’s good to see that Janet Jackson is back and she’s ready to tour. Check out the rescheduled dates and cities below.
