Estelle Performs ‘Conqueror’ at 2015 Black Girls Rock [Video]

British songbird Estelle has been making the rounds in promotion of her latest album, True Romance, and caught a big look with her performance of “Conqueror” at 2015 Black Girls Rock event, which aired on BET on Sunday night (April 5).

Behind the backdrop of female dancers in silhouette, Estelle did her thing and represented for the ladies well. “Life is like a big merry-go-round / You’re up and then down / Going in circles trying to get to where you are” she croons.

Dressed in a black dress and a shimmering necklace, the Grammy-winning singer impresses with her vocal skills and engages the audience with her performance. “We all make mistakes, we may fall on our face but don’t ever give up,” she sings to the crowd.

Overall, Estelle nearly steals the show with her inspirational song that is sure to motivate more than a few black girls who rock through it’s powerful message.
