Destiny’s Child Reunites to Perform ‘Yes’ at Stellar Gospel Music Awards [Videos]

Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited on Saturday night (March 28) for the 2015 Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

The Destiny’s Child members got together in Las Vegas to perform Michelle’s single, “Yes,” which is nominated for three Stellar Awards including Song of the Year. Aside from the song nominations, Michelle is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.

The special performance began with Michelle, who started with a cover of “Alpha & Omega.” Midway through the song, Kelly and Beyoncé joined in, singing with their backs to the audience. As the two turned around, the crowd erupted into cheers when they realized who was actually onstage. Once they finished the cover, the performance quickly transitioned to “Yes,” bringing everyone on their feet and grooving to the uplifting track. You can watch the full performance above or watch the Instagram clip below.

Finally I can say something! Rumors were true! Destiny's Child was in the buliding #StellarAwards

This is the first time we’ve seen Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle perform together the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013. That same year, the girl group released a new single, “Nuclear,” as well as a greatest hits album. Since then, Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle have continued to pursue their careers as solo artists and spent time with their (sometimes expanding) families; Kelly welcomed a baby son, Titan, last November.

To watch their full performance and find out if Michelle walks away with a few trophies, you can catch the 2015 Stellar Gospel Music Awards on April 5 at 6 p.m. EDT on TV One.
