Common Readies Nobody’s Smiling Tour with Jay Electronica
Common is gearing up to hit the road.
The 42-year-old Chicago singer has announced plans for a major North American headline trek this fall, dubbed the Nobody’s Smiling Tour.
Alongside special guest Jay Electronica, the rapper is scheduled to kick off his 13-city trek in Las Vegas on Nov. 21.
The pair also travels to Los Angeles, New Orleans, Atlanta and Philadelphia, before wrapping with closing sets in New York on Dec. 9 and 10.
“I’m excited to be touring because I haven’t in several years and to be doing it with an album like ‘Nobody’s Smiling’ is giving me a chance to perform the hip-hop that I love,” Common said in a statement.
“To have Jay Electronica on this tour is crazy. He is one of the freshest voices in hip-hop today. He truly is sparking the culture.”
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
