Ciara Releases ‘I Bet’ Visuals; Auditioning Musicians for U.S. Tour [Video]
Ciara will be announcing her U.S. tour for her new LP Jackie later this month, having just released her the visuals for her new single “I Bet.”
You can join the 29-year-old pop/R&B singer on tour as one of her musicians, with auditions being held this Friday in Los Angeles.
Ciara and her music director, Kim Burse, are holding auditions for a drummer, bass player and guitarist for her band. The tryouts are at SIR Studios, 6465 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, Calif., from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. PST.
Musicians will audition to her hit single “Goodies” from her debut album; and “I Bet,” from the forthcoming LP, which is named after her mother.
“I am so excited about this tour,” she said in a statement. “It has been almost six years since my last tour.
“I feel this album is my best body of work. It is important to me that my fans have the greatest show experience possible. On the Jackie tour, fans will get a chance to know me more intimately, jam to good music, and most importantly be entertained. I cannot wait!”
Musicians must be at least 21 years old, possess a passport and pass a background check.
Ciara just released the visuals for “I Bet” on Monday.
“I imagine this song will be very meaningful for a lot of people,” she told Billboard. “It is much bigger than any one person’s experience.”
“I Bet” is the first single off Jackie, which is expected to be released in May.
