Charlie Wilson is getting ready to hit the road with Kem and Joe Thomas.

All three are part of Wilson’s just-announced The Forever Charlie Tour, which has 27 dates in 2015, including Detroit and Chicago.

The R&B music-infused tour kicks off Feb. 12, 2015, in Cleveland and runs through March 27 in Oakland. Other stops include back-to-back dates in Chicago, on Feb. 27 at United Center, and Detroit, on Feb. 28 at Joe Louis Arena.

Tickets go on sale Friday.

The tour is named after the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Wilson’s upcoming album, “Forever Charlie,” which is slated for a Jan. 27 release on RCA Records. It includes the new single, “Goodnight Kisses,” by the 61-year-old singer, who co-founded The Gap Band.

Kem’s latest album, “Promise to Love,” earned the 45-year-old, whose full name is Kem Owens, a Grammy Award nomination in the best traditional R&B performance category for the song “Nobody.”

Thomas, perhaps known better as his stage moniker Joe, is a seven-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter. In June, the 41-year-old released his album “Bridges,” which features Kelly Rowland and 50 Cent collaborations and includes singles like “Mary Jane” — sampling Rick James‘ 1978 song with the same title.
