Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Calls Out Manny Pacquaio For May Bout [Video]

Floyd “Money” Mayweather, Jr.,
says he’s ready to fight.

The question is when Manny Pacquaio will come around to do that with the 37-year-old boxing champion from Grand Rapids and now of Las Vegas.

On Friday night during a Showtime interview, Mayweather said he wants to fight Pacquiao next on May 2, 2015, ESPN reported.

“We are ready. Let’s make it happen. May 2. Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao. Let’s do it,” Mayweather told Showtime in San Antonio, where his promotional company put on a boxing card of matches.

Mayweather, a 5-foot, 8-inch 147-pounder, has a 47-0 won-loss record with 26 knockouts and is the reigning WBC welterweight world champion.

Pacquaio, a 35-year-old from The Phillipines, is 57-5-2 with 38 KOs and is the reigning WBO welterweight world champion. Last month, he called out Mayweather for a bout after defeating American pro Chris Algieri in Macau.
